How do I donate?
You can bag, box, or stop in and deliver them in person. We love to chat with our donors. No appointments required. Clothes for resale should arrive as new or gently worn. Items unsuitable for resale will be repurposed and recycled in the textile shed. If you’re dropping off donations, a sign in front of the Church on Linwood Avenue directs you to the drop bin behind the church. The retail store is located at the same site. You may also drop off during any of our store hours. We believe in recycling, repurposing, and re-commerce, and remove all items from the shed daily and assess whether they will be sold online, in-store, or recycled. Every item donated means a donation to the Blackstone Valley Emergency Shelter. Please be a good neighbor—no drop-offs after 8 PM or before 7 AM. Sunday services are held, so please do not drop off until after 11:00 AM.
What types of donations are accepted?
Clothing in all sizes, genders, and ages. We have men, women, children, infants, and even a pet spot. Dry goods and textiles like bedding, drapes, and linens. We’ve got some tremendous handmade quilts and comforters in stock. Accessories like belts, purses, ties, scarves, hats, gloves, shawls, etc. Jewelry Shoes, sneakers Small home décor items Stuffed animals and small toys/games
What things can't be accepted?
We do not accept appliances, toys, glassware, tools, books, dishware, electronics, or furniture.
When and where can I drop off my donation?
If you’re dropping off donations, a sign in front of the Church will guide you to the textile shed at the end of the driveway on the left. We remove all items from the shed daily and assess whether they will be sold online, in-store, or recycled. Please be a good neighbor—no drop-offs after 8 PM or before 7 AM. Sunday services are held, so please do not drop off until after 11:00 AM.
